ADULT CRISIS RESIDENTIAL
Momentum Crisis Residential
programs provide therapeutic, psychosocial rehabilitation in a 24-hour residential
treatment program as an alternative to psychiatric hospitalization for individuals
experiencing an acute psychiatric episode. The goals are to reintegrate
the client back into the community by focusing on interpersonal and independent
living skills, as well as, developing community support systems. Our programs
provide a stabilizing environment, a multitude of self-help skills, and
a plan to assist client's transition back into the community to practice
what they have learned while in the program.
Momentum crisis programs are staffed 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
The agency's on-call system, designed to reach
Psychiatrists and highly trained Clinical Staff 24 hours

additional support for program staff, if needed. Our crisis

time with family and community
reintegrating. Discussion topics for group sessions may include:
medication education, current events, understanding mental
illness, money management, time management, stress management,
independent living skills, HIV awareness, arts & crafts,
weekly social/recreational outings, goals groups, community
resources and discharge planning.
