2010 GOLF TOURNAMENT SLATED FOR JUNE 7
Momentum for Mental Health has raised over $600,000 in the first 6 years and will hold its 7th Annual Benefit Golf Tournament on June 7, 2010. Funds go to improve our services for clients suffering the effects of severe mental illnesses.
The impact of untreated mental illness on individuals, families, our community and economy is staggering. According to the Department of Health and Human Services, mental health problems affect one in every five young people at any given time. At Momentum, we are committed to increasing the public’s awareness and understanding of mental illness and providing quality mental health programs.
The 2010 tournament is slated for June 7 at the La Rinconada Country Club. Located on approximately 125 acres of rolling hills in the heart of Los Gatos, La Rinconada Country Club boasts one the most beautiful settings for golf in the Santa Clara Valley. Features that enhance the country club include an exceptional golf course and driving range, as well as outstanding chipping and putting practice areas. Surrounded by spectacular views, La Rinconanda's newly renovated clubhouse provides superb dining for members and is large enough to host outside events.
